There's been so much going on in school this month. I've barely had time to eat or sleep. But I've learned so much. We had this course in radio journalism. And it's been five hectic weeks of interviews, editing, team work and really putting yourself out there. I had a slight issue with calling random people before this course started. And that is so not the case anymore. I could call whoever, whenever and not be the least bit nervous.
So I finally had time to watch some TV last night. Big love looks promising. But also a bit weird. I spent the whole summer watching all the seasons of Six feet under and I'm quite scared I will never find a show that is as good. SFU may just have it all.

Woah, that last entry was dated way back. I am now 20 (w00t) and get to buy booze and stuff. It feels good, but weird. Weird good. I'm back in Borås over the summer and it's already kind of exhausting. But I get to hang out with a bunch of old friends and that makes it all worth while.
Also, me and mom are going to Croatia this Sunday! I haven't had a real vacation in years, so it's neat that I get to have one now. I have to work when I get back though. I'm not looking forward to that at all. But hey! I need money. Or, stuff... I need stuff. And a drivers license. I'll be working on that this fall.
And I really need a new layout. Like now! It sucks being this lazy.

Oh, man. Where to start?
I heard all about the good reviews, the oscar nominations and all that jazz before watching this. But didn't expect it to have such a deep impact on me.
Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash is pure perfection. The movie wouldn't be as good without him. I've never been a big J.P-fan, but this movie made me into one. Just the fact that he and Reese Witherspoon sang all the songs for real is amazing! They did such a good job. If they don't get their Oscars for this shit, then I don't know what I'll do, they were THAT good.
Suddenly, I want to own all the Johnny Cash-records out there. That must be the finest grade ever! With no doubt the best movie I've seen this year. Go and watch it now! SJHSHJAJHAJHAJHAJHAJHAJHAJHA! Please?

Back in Borås again. I'm going back to Kalmar on Monday (classes start on Tuesday). I like being back in town again. I kind of miss it here. My mom was kind enough to buy me a new black coat, it's so hawt! I haven't been shopping for ages. Mostly because I'm kind of broke all the time. It sucks being a student in Sweden. The dough ain't rolling in, that's for sure. I also got some money from my uncle and grandmother. They are the best! It really helps out a lot. Since I moved this month, there are a lot of bills that need to be paid, ugh!
I also met my friend Kat today. It felt great seeing her again, we really have the same twisted sense of humor. There aren't all that many people in this world that really get me. And she does. I just wish she wasn't so far away from Kalmar :/ We went to see "Walk the line", and it basically ruled. Joaquin Phoenix is amazing. Johnny Cash too. Impressive!

New layout. Not sure if I like it or not. Oh well! At least I managed to stretch out my navigation bar with some help from a LJ-community.
And then there's school tomorrow. It starts with listening to the radio shows we all have recorded (I really don't want to hear mine), and after that we have to do the exam. I don't feel ready for it, and I'm pretty sure I will fail. Ugh, I need a break.

It struck me that I'm a really busy little lady when I realized I haven't even had time to watch last weeks Veronica Mars. There's just been so much in school these last few days. I can't keep up with it all. Right now we have a class in radio production. This means a lot of hard work with editing and getting a hang of how the studios work. I haven't ever had a class that has been as hard and exhausting as this one, including math. Crazy shit! Also, big exam on monday. I hope I pass.
Tomorrow I'm shooting my own one hour show all by myself. It's for kids - ages 6-9. I'm so nervous, but I hope it all goes well. Wish me luck!

Simply and absolutely glorious my ass!
This movie is as blah as it gets. How Keira Knightly scored an oscar nomination for this crap is beyond me. Girls throwing themselves all over wealthy, arrogant men is just not my cup of tea. And don't even get me started about their mother.
If I lived back then I would probably offed myself a long time ago. I'm glad I don't have to marry some asshole just to be able to have some kind of future. The end.

First of all, I moved out last week. I love my new apartment. It's tiny, but it's mine and I don't mind living alone at all. It's actually kind of liberating. A lot of boxes are still piled up on the floor, making it hard for me to get anywhere. But it's alright. The sucky thing is that I have to sell some furniture because there is no room. Oh well. It takes about 20 minutes (or 6 songs on my ipod) to get to school and that walk is just what I need to wake up in the morning. In the spring I'm most definitely getting a bike.
I also saw Death cab for cutie this weekend. I always thought they were the kind of band that only worked well on their records. But hot damn! They kicked ass live. I think I almost died and went to heaven during "We laugh indoors" and "I will follow you into the dark". It was very touching. But I missed seeing them preform "A lack of color" and "Someday you will be loved". Other than that, it was an amazing show.
On another note: how great wasn't Grey's anatomy this week? What a mindblowing cliffhanger, oh lordy!

In 2006 I will watch 100 movies and post my thoughts about them here on LJ.
What can I say? It really blew me away. So, so good. I command you all to see it! ;) Scarlett and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers were amazing (!), and all of the crazy twists and turns just kept coming, and it all ended up in a terrible mess. There was never a dull moment! It really makes you think, and a big plus for the unpredictable ending!

Back in Borås over the weekend. The sucky thing is that I had to get up really today. My aunt and cousin were going back home today, so we waved them off at the bus station. It felt like someone was trying to jack my heart out. So. freaking. cold. And all the shops we're closed, so there was nowhere to go. It's like -10C over here. It may not seem much, but it sure felt like it.
After that I went to the library and picked up some books I've been dying to read. It's funny, when I was younger I was a real bookworm. I read like 3 books a week. Now I can't even recall if I read any books last year. Pretty sad really, there is just no time. I'm pretty sure that the internet took over my life (damn you!) :(

It's christmas eve and everything has been wonderful so far. Here in Sweden we get to open the gifts today, so there's been a lot of unwrapping. I got: money (300$ in total), nice bed sheets, underwear from H&M, candles, a little santa, ticket to the death cab for cutie-show in february, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind / the notebook on DVD and chocolate. Mom wanted to buy me Lost on DVD too, but it was sold out everywhere. Just my luck, eh? But I'm going to order it online, so it's all good.
The best thing about the holidays is all the crappy/funny movies on TV. I'll be watching "Jingle all the way" with Arnold Schwarzenegger soon, hee! :D

Hee, I'm watching the discovery channel. Damn, twisted killers are really fascinating, and they have all these cool reconstructions of how it all went down. They are fun to watch because the actors who play the killers always overdo it, too much drama in slow motion!
I still haven't found a christmas gift for mom. I feel bad, but I'm going up early to find one tomorrow. The only thing that sucks is that everybody (and their mother) will be out looking for gifts too. I hate crowded spaces, and lines. Ugh!
I want to go to the movies and see "King Kong" and "Narnia", but first I have to force someone to go with me, damn! ^_^

I passed my exam, yay! I also got my internet all hooked up. My mom was thrilled to see me again, she even bought me a cake (!) and said something along the lines of "we have to buy you lost on DVD so that you have something to watch now that you're home". Have I died and went to heaven? I think so.
I also got a call from my boss today. She told me to come by and pick up my christmas presents. I was really surprised because I haven't worked there since this summer. So I went, and got a bag loaded with gifts and an envelope with about 150$ in it. I couldn't believe it. I may just have the best boss ever.
And the day just got better when my friend a2td revealed something that made me really happy and proud. I'm sure you guys will see what I'm talking about soon! ;)
PS: I have fallen in love with yet another tv-show, this time it's Grey's anatomy. How i love thee!
